Fundy Tidal Interpretive Centre - A visitor information centre, gift shop and interpretive centre. Learn about the highest tides in the world and the tidal bore phenomenon...then stroll along a trail and watch the tidal bore - breath taking!

Lawrence House Museum - "appointed with most of its original furnishings, speaks volumes about the lives of the community elite. Large and rather formal in plan, it was clearly the home of a man whose sights were set beyond this small coastal village. The fine furniture and exotic souvenirs from around the world show that here was a man of taste, means, and experience."
West Hants Historical Society - The West Hants Historical Society is located in Windsor, NS and also runs a seasonal museum. Its genealogy department is open year round.
The Shubenacadie Canal Commission - "A Historic Treasure". Learn about this fascinating waterway which spans Nova Scotia, connecting Halifax to the Cobequid Bay.
Rossignol Cultural Centre- An eclectic museum with something for everyone. You can even stay overnight in a traditional Mongolian Ger or a British Block House - well worth the experience! A 'two-for-one' admission cost (minimal) will also gain you entry to the Sherman Hines Museum of Photography certainly worth a visit for the wow, ooh and aah factor!
Maritime Museum of the Atlantic - The museum is one of the oldest and largest maritime museums in Canada and fun for all ages. It is home to exhibits such as Titanic, The Halifax Explosion, Days of Sail and many more.
